The Magus is the first card in the Tarot and it symbolises self-confidence and the knowledge of one's own abilities. The Magus encourages you to take the initiative and use your resources creatively and purposefully.
When the Magus appears in a spread the message is to tap into your full potential when there is a need to manifest something.
Magus Films, led by film industry veteran, Jonathan Sadler, is dedicated to offering marketing support and creative services to independent producers, filmmakers and distributors at every stage of the film value chain.

We can manage an entire movie release or just aspects of it, and can also provide pre-production services such as creating distributor-angle script feedback and advice, writing and designing pitch books and creating proof of concept videos. Our services include editing, design and marketing strategy, social media strategy and content management as well as asset creation.

Magus Films is also developing its own feature film as lead producer, 'Chalet' - a black comedy based on the play 'Chalet' by the late Roderick Mann, which paints an amusing fantasy around the lives of David Niven and his second wife, Hjordis, while in their Swiss chalet over Christmas, 1975. Chalet is being co-produced by Sol Papadopoulos and has been adapted for the screen by Daniel Graham, who is also down to direct, and boasts a world-class international cast.

Jonathan is currently writing an industry book, Independent Film Marketing & Distribution for Oldcastle Books, due to be published in October, 2025.
