The Magus is the first card in the Tarot . When the Magus appears in a spread, it points to the talents, capabilities and resources at the querent's disposal to succeed. The message is to tap into one's full potential when there is a need to transform or manifest something.
Magus Films is dedicated to developing a slate of independent features and series, collaborating with various co-production partners. Our current focus is the development of the feature film, Chalet, based on the play of the same name by Roderick Mann and adapted for the screen by Daniel Graham.

Chalet was written by the late Roderick Mann, an English journalist and author. He was a prolific writer and contributed to many newspapers and magazines over the course of his career. He was best known for his work as a film and theater critic. In addition to his journalism work, Mann also wrote several books. Based out in Hollywood during the 70s and 80s Mann met and befriended many stars of the golden era, including David Niven, whom he wrote Chalet about, after closely observing his relationship with his second wife, Hjordis Genberg.

Chalet is a fictional account based on these close observations and is comparable to scripts such as Sleuth and Deathtrap and is set entirely in his Chalet in Switzerland in 1975, between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
